He's already been a pretty big plus, even if he never pitches an inning in 2026. He was one of our best SP'ers in '24 and did well in his only start in '25.

We have some exciting arms coming up through the farm system. No idea if will make it to Boston, but I can say with 100 percent accuracy, they all have better stuff than Criswell

No doubt, but many are not ready. He signed for just over min wage.

Tolle, early, dobbins, Fitts, drohan, and uberstine all with time in Boston or Worcester. 
 

I guess last year proved we can never have enough depth when it comes to pitchers!

I'd start Criswell over Uberstine and Drohan. Dobbins may start the season on the IL. Fitts should be in the pen to start the season, IMO.

I do think Early and Tolle should be better options, but let's see how they look in ST'ing.

I agree that cheap depth is good.
