Gio only ended up giving up one run

And would have lasted longer but for the 2 errors by Story and one rotten call by the ump,.

Another K for Duran.  He has 3 and the rest of the team 6.

You can flip a coin on trading Duran vs Abreu.    There are some peripheral matters like age and cost that favor Abreu  but both have trouble with LH pitching

Why do you hate Cedanne so much? He is going to win a gold golve this year, he can play multiple positions, he is young, has a very team favorable contract and is an improving hitter. Better get used to him being the center fielder for the next 8-10 years.

I don’t hate Cedanne. I hate the way he plays with a bat in his hands. He has zero plate discipline and at times looks silly at the plate. The only time he can hit the baseball is if the pitcher makes a mistake. His OPS is under.700.

Maybe he'll get hot in the PO's.

Maybe.

Meanwhile, Chapman in for the 9th with a 4-1 lead and an always dangerous Jays lineup.

Cora should bench him and Breslow DFA him

Why do you really hate Rafaela?

I object to your present tense because it simply isn't always true and certainly not lately.  Also, if memory serves, Anthony was especially good at being patient and nailing mistakes.  So was the splendid splinter.  Yogi, on the other hand, would swing at almost anything, but he usually could hit it.

Tonight Duran has assumed the "silly at the plate" role.

Yankees just tied the game on a wild pitch. The white sox are a joke. Two outs well.

Losers always find a way to lose

Feel free to object. But I’m right

Rafaela isn’t Yogi

Nobody like Yogi.  A little guy who played huge, including catching Don Larsen's perfect game in a World Series.
