Ref looks to be playing more RF than LF, but I guess whan Duran rests, Ref will get the nod. (Maybe Yoshida?)

How well Rafaela does might determine how much Duran plays in LF.

I'd put our LF in the top 6 or 7, 10 at worst.

Getting reps so that he's warming up the position temporarily until Abreu is ready to play fulltime.

Do you rip the band-aid off and just let Abreu start vs almost all LHPs, to see if he can hit lefties, or do you go with the 13th best batter vs LHPs in MLB, and let Abreu get a few scattered ABs vs lefties to try and slowly build trust he can hit lefties.

REF may retire, after this year.

Long term, Abreu isn't going to be a fulltime OFer here so I don't see the point in starting him vs LHP. They are seemingly committed to Rafaela and Duran playing fulltime.

That's fine until Anthony is called up. At that point, Abreu becomes the 4th OFer and Refsnyder starts against really difficult LHP.

This has been my position for months.

Cora will play Ref in RF vs LHPs, though.

If Anthony get's called up, they may play him in CF vs RHPs and RF vs LHPs. (Rafaela in CF vs L, Abreu in RF v R)
