Great to see the SOX best hitter since the ASB is out of the line-up tonight.

I'd rather have Masa playing LF than O'Neill. I'll take the decline in defense for Masa, at least, making contact with the ball.

Against RH's the SOX OPS of .852 leads MLB. The Dodgers are 2nd at .844.

How’s the pitching 😬

Regardless if the Sox make the playoffs, my lasting memory of the 2024 season is the play of Jarren Duran.
He has been an absolute joy to watch with the bat, on the bases, and in the field. 👏

Perhaps the best thing Bloom did for the SOX was not to trade him.

They’ve begun to develop a good nucleus of young position players.
But unless they manage to do the same thing with pitchers they will never get a ring.

The last draft was pitcher heavy, so that’s a good start ….

Their track record for developing pitchers hasn’t been good at all.

This is a new regime with a revamped pitching programme.

we shall see if they develop a pitching pipeline…..

They just revamped the pitching department, so I think we need to give them a little bit of a chance for a few years to turn it around. Bres can’t completely revamp the farm in one year.

So many mediocre teams this season. That's why there's so many teams still in contention for that last PO spot.

I don’t consider this team to be in serious contention for the playoffs.

Not enough talent
