The Celtics, Bruins, and Red Sox have all pretty much sucked the last two nights. The Bruins are in deep doo doo, and the Red Sox just keep treading water.

Let's get back over .500!

1. Duran

2. Abreu

3. O'Neill

4. Devers

5. Grissom

6. Smith

7. McGuire

8. DHam

9. Rafaela

Pitcher: Criswell

On paper, this team does not look like it can beat more than a handful of others, but this team has shown a lot of resilience.

Gotta beat this over .500 team.

Bruins don't have the team to win the cup. Last year was their chance and they blew it.

Celtics on the other hand should make it to the finals

Agree 100%

The Celtics are clearly the best team in the NBA. If they play the way they can, they win it all. The Bruins are a very good team that has a chance, but they are not the best in the NHL.

The NBA playoffs have consistently had the cream rise to the top. If you look and see who is in the finals over the past few decades, the teams that make it were almost always seeded 1 or 2 in the conference. The NHL playoffs are historically a much, much bigger crapshoot...

Imho, the BRUINS are an above average team with two very good goalies. Their multi-million dollar sniper has forgotten how to snipe in the PO's. Their two top centers would be on the 3rd and 4th line of a good team.

That Monty was able to get 109 points from this talent-challenged team makes him a strong candidate for coach of the year.

It's two different sports. Hockey games are much lower scoring , closer and harder to predict. Often one or two key plays decides the outcome. Baseball is somewhat similar in that regard. Of course, one or two key plays can decide a basketball game as well, but maybe not as often.

Plus basketball games can be dominated by 2-3 players. Teams don’t necessarily need to be as deep…

Best record teams don't always win.

2022-2023: Best NBA records MIL 58 wins, BOS 57 wins

Champ Denver (4th best record)

2021-2022: PHO 64 wins, MEM 56, MIA 53

Champs: GS (T 3rd best record)

2020-2021: UT 52, PHO 51, PHI 49, BRO 48, DEV & LAC 47

Champs: MIL (7th best record)

'19-'20 LAL (3rd best record)

'18-'19 TOR (2nd best)

'17-'18 GS (3rd)

Last best record champ in the NBA: 2016-2017 Golden State

NHL:

'22-'23: Best BOS 135 pts, CAR 113, NJ 112, TOR & Vegas 111

Champ: Vegas

'21-'22: COL (2nd)

'20-'21: TB (T7th)

'19-'20: TB (T3rd)

'18-'19: STL (T9th w 3 teams)

'17-'18: WSH (T6th)

'16-'17: PIT (2nd)

'15-16: PIT (3rd)

'14-'15: CHI(7th)

I'm not sure when the best record NHL team last won the championship.
