Meh. I take the long view and recognize that the Yankees with their 27 World Series titles are a terrific and very worthy rival. I don't hate the Yankees and rarely have run into a Yankees fan in person I couldn't get along with, if only because I usually know a lot about the Yankees.

The problem is, anyone would look foolish going after Henry, so Bloom is made out to be the guy who chose to slash the budget and make building the farm the top priority.

Good insight.

Plus, let's face it, it's fun grading a GM's dives--his player acquisitions/trades--before and after the fact. I've never played fantasy baseball, but my brother loved to. You do too--love to grade trades and acquisitions.

And on top of that is the basic fan complaint of "what have you done for me lately." I thought 2021 was a pretty darn good season, but to the boo birds it's ancient history or never happened or, best of all, was just blind stupid luck.

You spout all this nonsense because you're on the internet.

Exactly what nonsense, are you really Sigmund Freud?

What a lineup tonight.

Bobby D at SS

Franchy Strange Glove at 1B

Duran The Butterfly Man in CF

This isn’t even a good AAA team.

Could get comical, I might have to watch that game.....

Cashman certainly had his input on more than one winner.

As far as "impossible to financially go to a game", you do realize that the sox top that category, right?

could be, I haven't been to Fenway in quite a while but in NY it's $50 to park at the stadium, $15 beers and don't ask about lousy food prices, Hal was asked about paying big contracts and his answer was, "let the fans pay" I'm sure thinking is the same but don't throw it in their face. Taking my young great grand sons to a Patriots game tom'w night, I have them both started in little league, it will be great they play good ball, in first place and pack the stadium, 5 first row seats next to the dugout $105 total

I grew up a die hard Yankee fan, went to the stadium all the time, many opening days but Steinbrenner cured that for me. He was an egotistical tyrant who loved to belittle his staff but in public and in the newspapers, he loved head lines but the final nail is what he did to Yogi Berra, it was despicable, disgraceful and disgusting literally chased him away from the stadium, if you didn't love Yogi you don't love life. I did root for them only when Billy Martin was the manager between the lines there was none better and he didn't take any crap from George. The two longest losing streaks in Yankee history were under the name Steinbrenner, Can't stand them

It does take a special something to go on another team's message board and constantly razz them.

Beer is not $15 at the Stadium and you can take the subway and not have to pay to park. I've had some halfway decent food there as well.

As for the game you are taking your great grandsons to, I hope you have a great time but to compare the cost of a AA game to that of a game at the Stadium is laughable at best.

you have a serious ego problem,, you take those filthy subways with druggies and derelicts, no subway from where I live in jersey anyway and I don't care what you say about the food, it sucks same vendor as Met Life stadium, only thing laughable is Cashman over spending and over extending and winning nothing, in NY it's all about championships which he is not winning and won't this year. He will get destroyed with a Judge contract like the wonderful Cole contract everybody is laughing at. I don't blame the players for getting all they can. Do you remember when you're precious Cashman stabbed Torre in the back to save his own job, enjoy, BYE

Wacha has been outstanding, but had an injury history and was out for 6 weeks injured.

You make my point for me, why sign more injury prone starters when you already had 2 in Sale and Eovaldi ?

That explains a lot.

I have a sign above my toilet, it says "Please flush twice, it's a long way to New Jersey"
