I realize the Schwarber comp is not a good example, since he was not a 1Bman and was hurt when we traded for him, but we didn't have to part with much to get him.

If any stats out there show Franchy is a good to adequate 1B then I think you need some new stats. You sure you’re not seeing visions of George Scott playing 1B when you are watch Franchy? The good ole eye test still shows true.

Washington just seems like a dumb organization and would ask for too much for Bell. Bell is also NOT a good 1b. Cron gets signed to 1 year deals every offseason and isn't valued highly. Rockies are going nowhere. I think you can get Cron pretty easily. I'd try to get him sooner than later.
