Getting swept by the Flubs will be disastarous! Seabold needs to wear big boy pants today and show he deserves to be in the majors.

One more loss can never be a disaster, unless it's an elimination game.

One definition of Disastarous is: Highly unsuccessful. I think getting swept by the Cubs would be a highly unsuccessful weekend.

Seabold showing very little in the first, and Duran doesn't have the arm to throw guys out at the plate. Dugo's mistake in not cutting off the oppo field single shows more poor defensive discipline. Small plays matter in baseball.

I’m a big Duran fan, and really like him but the more I watch him, I feel like he isn’t a very good fielder. He seems like he lacks confidence and makes the “wrong decision” a lot in terms of how he plays balls. His speed obviously helps make up for this a lot but sometimes I really question what he’s doing out there

Winck has been a surprise coming from the SOX farm. Usually when it comes to starting pitching coming from the farm, it's been a joke. So expecting Seabold to be successful is definitely bucking the odds.

23 pitch inning doesn't bode well for a 6 inning effort by Seabold. His pitches do not seem to have a lot of natural movement, pretty straight.

Seabold has used slider, changeup, and fastball. After the first two Cubs hitters, they worked reasonably well. That said, I don't think he has much command, which means his pitches are generally of the zone or down the middle, plus he throws a lot of fastballs.

I know it’s small sample size, but overall he doesn’t seem to have major league stuff.

Duran is not out there for his glove, and he has to keep producing as a leadoff hitter to stay in the lineup some that Kike hadn’t been doing before he got hurt.

That throw from CF missed 2b and home plate. Duran place CF like the headless horseman.

Absolutely true. And he's done well in the leadoff spot. Wild applause. But that comes at a price.

Getting the Cubs' feed and they just posted a statement from Winckowski regarding his 1st time at Wrigley. He found it underwhelming, especially compared to Fenway. He called Wrigley 'stock standard.' Winck telling it like he sees it. Kind of refreshing.

Just like the Jays, the Cubs hitters have gotten good at hitting away from the bold shifts. Sox not so much. They prefer to smack the ball hard right to someone.

I mean too be fair, Devers bunted against shift and Franchy got a gift hit due to shift

I don’t know, this is a tough year to judge because Cubs suck but I personally loved Wrigley

I think Fenway Park is one of the most photogenic ballparks in America, but I disliked it intensely when I watched a game from the right field side. Rotten sight lines--but still expensive.
