Devers makes errors, but to me there is no question his head is in the game on defense and he is looking to get someone out. I wouldn't be surprised if he works harder on his defense than on his hitting.

Strangely enough, I am in fact looking forward to tonight's game and am glad you started the game thread

 

Like I said 2 1/2 hours ago, I was definitely looking forward to this game. Too bad I then had to snipe at Devers, JDM, and Bogey who have been invaluable this year.

 

Pivetta goes 6 and gets the quality start just when the Sox absolutely need one!!!!!!!

I'm telling you right now--no ifs, ands, or buts--the Jays computers are smarter than the Sox computers. The Sox keep hitting the ball hard right to someone, and the Jays keep hitting weak s*** right through our shifts.

I was wondering something similar except that I wonder if Bloom is giving direct orders to Cora to play him in hopes that he does break out so he can look good for making this trade. Cora can't be this useless to keep playing him just about every night

MLB has a really weird rule that lots of fans don't know about. Runs scored by the other team before the 9th inning actually do count as runs. I have to say that because I keep reading on talksox that the only inning that counts is the 9th inning.
