Not too psyched to play a team on an 11 game skid because when the losing streak gets this big, you know it's going to end soon. They also try harder and harder every night, which may make things worse for them, depending on how you look at it. If we get the lead first, they will be pressing like crazy. Maddon will certainly bring the infield in with anybody on 3rd in any inning, even if they have a lead, I would imagine

Odd way to keep up with the game tonight. Listening to WEEI on MLB.com ( Angels blacked out in So Cal) and looking at Gameday for pitches/stats. But there is about a one minute delay between WEEI and the Gameday so I can see the result in print before Joe C announces it by a wide spread. Same things happen with the NESN broadcast being noticeably delayed based on posts I see on the game thread. Who cares as long as the Sox win.

Splendid, i did find a local TV broadcast of this game and all i can say is the the HP umpire is another of your Chumpires. Syndergaard got a lot of strike calls on clear balls.

It might be useful to get some runs off the Angels weak bullpen before ours has to show up. You could easily say Wacha outpitched Thor

Not counting politicians, there is no profession that has more incompetent people than MLB chUMPIRES. However, NHL referees run a close second.
