I didn’t know this was a debate club, and if you don’t answer something to the exact wording that a question is asked the major crime unit comes in to investigate. You say it’s pointless to debate, but you keep on trying to do it, and in the process no one’s mind is getting changed.

Again, I've said twice you don't have to answer. Stop pretending people are saying something they are not saying.

I stated my opinion that I think you should provide your ideas or plans for building a staff, since you seem to have an opinion on everyone else's plans.

It's not about changing anyone's mind. I happen to agree with you on much of what you said about our farm pitching and extending Eovaldi.

Asking someone's opinion is not trying to change their mind. Again, you are reading into things that are not said or even implied.

This is how it all started, because you didn’t like that 2 people, who one of them was me voted they would not offer Evol anything. That to me, and my opinion was the best answer to the question. Not that I don’t think Evol is a good pitcher, but I don’t think he was worth the other answers. I don’t care if you, or anybody else liked my vote, or my opinion, and try as hard as you want, but my opinion right, or wrong is not going to change.

You are so clueless. Where do I even come close to saying I didn't like that 2 people offered nothing. I actually asked them why no offer at all... like not even something like $5M/1?

This is "how it all started?" What got started?

Can I ask why someone chose their choice? Are you sending investigators to determine why I broke protocol? You really are something!

I didn't like the choices offered in this poll, either. None really captured my opinion. I was curious why some chose offer nothing. I tried to think of why they maybe chose that answer. If I was wrong about the dishonor part as a possible reason, then fine. I never said that was the only reason why someone chose that option. Instead of reading motives into my statement, why not actually answer why you chose nothing, until now?

Why be so obtuse?

Moon I’ve already answered I’m to lazy to develop a plan, and don’t have the patience to look up all the stats like you do.

I didn’t know I had to answer to you, or anyone else. Why did you question that answer to the poll, but not the others? I answered the question many times that I don’t think Evol is worth $20M for any length of time. You just didn’t want to hear it, because it didn’t match your opinion.

Yes, I read that and repeated your reply in a post.

Not answering is your choice. That way, nobody can ever say you were wrong. (Not implying that was your intention- just pre-empting a misguided counter attack.)

For the fourth time, I've said you don't have to answer, but when you assign fealty motives for me asking why 2 posters chose offer him nothing, I kind of hoped for a reason other than one that I suggested MIGHT be a reason. It was not meant as a criticism. I genuinely wanted to know why people chose nothing. I never thought about the idea that the other choices were so bad, one might think nothing was closer to their opinion. That's on me, but all it takes is for someone to say that a bit sooner, but then again, nobody is obligated to clarify anything they write here.

Nobody is saying you have to answer. It's a delusion you are still holding onto. It's your right to be deluded, too. Carry on. (not that you need my permission to carry on.)

You mean like you never answering if you trust Bloom to put a team together for next year, or beyond. For the record, and you ought to know this that if I have an answer to something I’m not afraid to say it even if I was the only one to answer that way out of 100 people.

I did not know you asked about trusting Bloom.

I think, if you read and understood my posts, you'd know my answer is yes. I trust Bloom to build a winning team in 2023 and beyond. I think he is building the farm up for the extended future, and we've yet to see those results, which should be expected. It's very hard to build a farm taht produces ML ready players in less than 3 years, with one of them being a year where there was no minor league action.

I think next winter will be very telling, and I might be proven wrong. He has not done all that well with his larger contract FA signings. Story, so far. Richards. Perez I and Perez II. I think he has a good eye for talent that doesn't take $150M to or more to obtain. He's swung and missed a lot, but that too should be expected when seeking gems in the rough.

After this season, there is no longer any budget excuses, unless Henry puts on the brakes, this coming winter, but I doubt that happens.

BTW, I never meant to even imply you were afraid to answer any question I have ever asked you.

Moon, I think we have beaten this subject to death, so I’m going to sign off out of here. Actually I’m going out, and celebrate the Celtics big win today. How about you? Have a good evening. I know I will.

Yes, I felt we've beaten the subject to death, that's why I surprised you said I never answered the question.
