Since the JD double, 4IP 1H 0BB 0ER 3K. Good rebound. You knew he wasn’t going much past 65 pitches as he didn’t get a lot of ST work in. Not surprising the see the pen get some run

Sterling E.R.A. of 6.75. Worth every dime. That's the guy you want starting a one game playoff.

I know that isn't intentional, but hitting the guy who hit a homer on the hand is likely going to lead to some retaliation this series, especially if he is hurt
Rizzo stands over the plate. He always gets hit a lot.

It's Yankees-Sox and Rizzo hit a HR earlier. You know there will be retaliation, whether warranted or not

Hitting Rizzo was retaliation for hitting Vasquez.

It's opening f***ing day dude. 161 to go

How has Cole done his last two starts against the Sox? Hammered! He is so overrated. Since he got caught, he hasn't been the same.

@nyyankeesstats

Anthony Rizzo just reached base via hit by pitch for the 179th time in his career.

That passes Andres Galarraga and moves him into 9th place for most HBP by a player in the Modern Era (Since 1900).

Or he just stands over the plate.

I am not saying they tried to hit him. I am saying this is Yankees Sox and retaliation can occur for an unintentional HBP

And he is too slow to get out of the way.

There you go with that again. The numbers dont back you up. He hasnt been "the same" since he got hurt and pitched through it. Today tells you nothing. It is opening day and he was limited to 65 pitches
