When the SOX have Dugo, Kike, and Renfroe in the OF, it may be the best defensive OF in the league. The infield is an entirely different animal.

And I will say it again, all the Schwarber deal did was expose how weak this team is in the field because now to get both Schwarber and JD in the batting order at the same time they have to put JD in the field. They have no place for Kyle. JD is a butcher out there and their defense goes from pitiful to downright embarrassing.

Hindsight is golden, but at this point I wish the SOX had signed JD for 4 years at 100 million.

OB mentioned that there were only 5,000 in attendance at a recent Rays' home game. I have nothing against the Rays' ballclub, but their city doesn't deserve anything approaching a WS championship. In fact the whole state doesn't deserve a major league franchise. Spring training is the only major league baseball that should be played in that Mickey Mouse state.
