He was never paid what he was worth when he pitched for Cleveland. I met Bob during the YAZ induction ceremonies. He was outside the ballpark selling autographed pictures of himself. I had read that he told a reporter he was quite angry what the lesser pitchers of today were being paid. He had no love for MLB when he retired.
