This almost qualifies as a BP start and what a BP start it's been.

I think tonight we are seeing the real Yankees lineup. Our starter ERod only got 3 outs, and in the 2d walked a guy, gave up a single and a double, with one man scoring, and had to leave the game with no one out. The Sox bullpen took over and that was the Yankees last run through 8 innings so far.

 

Don't get me wrong--I'm delighted with how our bullpen came through--but I also think a better Yankees lineup would have scored at least one more run.

 

The hitters definitely came through, especially Rafael, of course, but Duran had had 2 hits, as did Hernandez, Bogey with a single and a sac fly, Verdugo with a single and run scored.
