FWIW, the Sox will even get screwed on the ASG break. Everyone else is getting 4 days, but the Sox and Yankees get 3.

 

It would be so great to have a successful West Coast trip.

That's negative thinking! The way I see it is that everybody else gets 4 days, we get 3, but the league rewarded us by letting us play the Yankees. The Yankees are the ones getting screwed since they only get 3 days off and have to play us

Play the Yankees 8 times after the all star break in 11 days with 3 games in the middle against the blue jays. A huge stretch after the all star break.

Just checked the SOX schedule. After the ASB the SOX will play 4 at Yankem bandbox.

Well, since most of the WooSox still aren't vaccinated, the Sox can't leave the hotel when on the road. So it's not like he spent the day at Disneyland and then found out he was headed back to the armpit of Massachusetts

I watched a video earlier today where they had Chavis Mic'd up during a couple of innings during a spring training game. Very likable and intelligent young man. I wish him the best.

Suarez, much like yesterday's A's pitcher, has excellent stats.

Against JDM that first pitch would have been a ball, but against Bogey it's a strike. It was clearly outside.

Slider, fastball, and changeup all look pretty good. JDM had to battle to get that walk.

The thing about calling a ball a strike early in the count is that it forces the batter to swing at more bad pitches. Like pitch #6 against Bogey.
