Earlier in the season, Martinez bat speed was outstanding. Since the middle of may or so, his bat speed looks slower and he has not been as deadly.

Wonderboy Wander Franco of the Rays who pounded us in his first game is now 2-19 with 5 walks. Subtract the 2 hits , including HR off the Sox, and he's in a long haul oh-fer.
