True, except, imho, it wasn't an infield fly.

I think umps consider who is making the play for the defense and how high in the air the ball was popped. If it creates a circumstance where the fielder is positioned right under the ball (Most likely an infielder would be in that position) I just don't think how far off the dirt is much of a factor in the decision. How easily the fielder is going to be able to simply have it drop at his feet, pick it up and make a throw to a base are the key elements.

Umps are pretty bad...but they are not freak conjurers that can see a gust of wind is going to move Correa's feet and make it a harder play than the ump saw when he put his hand in the air to indicate infield fly.

I respect what you're saying. Either way there would have been an out. Actually, the infield out benefitted the SOX.

Agree. I'm OK with infield fly rule.

Only the radio cause I'm blacked out from the game. Just a simple question as I can't see what's the game.

What the hell is going on in this game? No broadcaster now or ever before can paint a picture of this cluster f.

Actually, this game could also be another Sergio Leone movie THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY.

I don't know, but I did see the ghost of Rod Serling by the SOX dugout.

The Astros pen is their weakness, and it's a big one. I was wondering when we'd et our gift, and tonight was the night.

Now, don't gift them back this one!

Not sure exactly due to just radio, but it sounds like popups are their weakness.
