The only time Taylor pitches in a high leverage situation is after he makes a low or medium leverage situation into a high one by loading the bases, and they leave him in too long to face a batter or two at high leverage.

 

I looked through his game logs and couldn't find anything like this.

 

Taylor pitched well in 2019. Last year was a writeoff. This year has been shaky but he's done well in his last 5 appearances.

I was just guessing, because I couldn't believe they'd bring him in during a high leverage situation.
