Sox try to make it 3 ST games in a row. 1:00PM start again. NESN has the game though others might be carrying it as well.

Jung mojo in mid season form.

Ain't it the truth....and it's one of my better qualities!

Somebody else gets the next ST GT.

So now that I have figured out that its other networks that have the next batch of Sox ST games I can resume my duties until forum convention knocks me out. Next televised game from what I can figure is the coming weekend. Anybody that has it different, please post something so I don't screw it up.

And then a home run. Good thing we didn't trade him after that dismal start!

You take the good you take the bad you take them both and there you have.

Nice 1st inning for no. 3 on the #SP60, Bryan Mata. Gets Scott Kingery to pop out on one pitch, then gives up a Josh Harrison single before Rhys Hoskins lines into a 5-3 double play. Just 20 years old, Mata spent the second half of 2019 at Double-A Portland.

Benintendi with a single on a 1-2 curveball from Pivetta to lead off the first. He’s 3-for-4 with a HR in that first AB of the game so far.

Mata often uses his heavy 2-seam fastball to generate ground outs. Nonetheless, that was a nice strikeout he got on Kyle Garlick (looking with his slider) with one out and two men on. He then got Deivy Grullon swinging on a curveball. Good job pitching himself out of trouble.

Rule 5 pick Jonathan Arauz hammers a 3-run blast over the replica monster off Phillies pitcher Cole Irvin to tie up the game 4-4. Arauz hasn't played above Double-A yet but had 11 homers between two levels last season. He's 27th on the #SP60.

Have you been to any games yet?

@alexspeier

LHP Kyle Hart had a strong two-inning outing vs Twins big leaguers. Mixed speeds and locations well, topping out at 91. He’s already defied some odds to get to the 40-man roster.

Guys like Hart should have an inside track to getting a 5th spot in the rotation before a retread like Brian Johnson or Hector Velazquez.

That’s J.D Martinez’s first spring training homer ever with the Sox.

This year's Pedro Ciriaco.

the real question is.....who jumped up and down with him in the dugout after he rounded the bases????
