the Nats will wilt in the bright lights of yankees stadium during a WS.

the only shot to prevent a parade in Gotham is for the Stros to win tonight....

You said that about the Marlins in 2003, too, right?

I am rooting hard for TB tomorrow. Not because they're a garbage opponent, but because Houston is death in their ballpark. We haven't won there since 2018 and in 2017, we didn't win a single game in Houston in a series that went 7. Yankee Stadium rocks for the playoffs and it will be really hard for a team to beat us in our ballpark.

Prediction: The Yankees are going down, one way or another.

IMO, As Cole goes, so goes tonight's game. If Cole can control the Rays it will wreck havoc with how Cash rolls out his pitching and that could be that.

Cole did and the Astro move along. Still the Rays were impressive for a team with a total competitive balance tax salary impact of $89 Mil. Would that our use of payroll would have been that efficient.

All the Sox needed to do to be that efficient is win a mere 260 games...

Finally, we have the pitching matchup for tomorrow night: Greinke vs Tanaka. A little surprised that it's not Paxton, but when T. is on, and he has been of late, he's obviously a shutdown ace. Nevertheless, despite Houston's having no choice as to their starter, they have G's 2.95 ERA vs T's around 4.45 ERA.
