See how Albert could not use his back to get to that throw from 3rd. Pretty amazing that Albert is out there at all....then again, any broken down horse will do for this era of MLB.

He didn't have to move far. Right now Pujols has the same range at 1st that Pablo has at 3rd.

So here is another of the issues with current MLB. A guy (JD) that really can't track down anything in RF taking a month to get to that baseball while a guy that can't run any more, Albert struggles to get from 1st to 2nd base. If video of that play does not give Manfred nightmares, nothing will.

I complimented Trout tonight. That is about all I have seen worth honorable mention. The Angels can't pitch. So Mookie and JD picking them apart is not worth much comment.

 

Oh I will watch till there is no longer any MLB to watch. I had just hoped that MLB would outlive me even with as much as they have screwed this game up. Now I am not so sure. They may have screwed it up so much that I am going to outlive them! Remember, they almost completely destroyed it in the mid 1990's. So for people to think "they got this" is pretty absurd just based on the history.
