That’s fair. But plenty of pitchers take forever between pitches. Some don’t. MLB could address it I suppose.

 

Pitcher is for the most part not even going to start his pre-pitch routine while these idiots are sauntering around on their little strolls. Some of the pitchers will stand there and "look" like they want to get going. But are they standing their glove up, toeing the rubber, ball in hand, ready to go while the hitters are sauntering around at home plate....NOPE!

 

Believe me...it was not this way in the past and has gotten worse and worse year by year.

I honestly do t understand why a kid would want to be a catcher. You can’t feel your damn legs from crouching half the time, you get hit everywhere on a reg basis. It’s horrific.

EDIT: I mean, honestly, Marco has been good this year. I know, small sample size and all, but so far he's been not just average but actively good. So why isn't he just playing 2B by default?
