Like DiceK, ERod is afraid to challenge hitters, preferring to nibble nibble nibble. They should just start him off with a 3-2 count. He needs to improve on that because going 5 innings doesn't cut it. If he wants to improve, thats how to do it.

Ok. And ok again. I agree with you. But the times says he is about 6 innings of ok starting pitching. I have to say, I'll take it at this point. Ecpecially with our offense.

The improvement Devers has made defensively since May is remarkable. His hitting and defense seemed to click around the same time.

Not sure why I remmeber this. But when E-Rod was aquired by the Sox, he was considered a low end starter. Why? He just had not much motivation. He was ok just firing away.

If Sale needs TJS its a fire sale this winter to reset. Trade Mookie; he is gone anyway after next year. Get whatever we can for the deadwood. Lose Leon. It will be a long summer but 2021 will be better.

They should definitely replace their mascot The Green Monster. He's run out of material. Perhaps a new mascot called The Pesky Pole could take his place.
