I've never understood how a pitcher can walk a hitter with the bases loaded. Just throw a strike, for Chrissake! At least there's a chance to get someone out!

What the hell is Cora doing? Velasquez has not gotten one out and yet the bases are still loaded and he stands there and stares at the guy instead of pulling him out. I guess we can afford to lose games.

It's bad enough you made roster/spring training mistakes to start the year. Don't make the mistake of having hope you're going to win a ws with this crew and miss out on picking up good prospects.

Well unless he was trying to throw the game.. I think nerves played a big part. It doesn’t really matter at this point. The game has been pissed away by bad situational baseball and Velasquez.

Umm, he managed the pen to 6 scoreless innings until Neck Tat took the mound.

 

There is a lot of blame to go around in this one. Bogie’s error cost 3 runs. Leaving the winning run on 2nd in 3 straight innings. Base running blunders. Cora’s bullpen management isn’t one of them.

So let’s see, Hernandez bunts Bradley to 3rd. They are going to walk Betts and Devers at that point. Does Bogaerts come through? JDM didn’t.

Cora is going to be the only manager I’ve heard of to win the World Series and be kicked out of the city he won the World Series in the next year. I was never on board with get rid of Cora because were having a good year but I’m starting to get that way. All the moves that work last year are not working at all this year. I know it’s on the players but he’s made some really s***** moves. Or I should say none moves.
