Porcello could have started on normal rest, I believe, after throwing just 33 pitches in his last start. In the last 11 days Porcello has thrown 33 pitches. So why is Velasquez out there?

Cora has lost it.

WTF's act is getting old. Remember, recent history has the SOX winning the WS with 1st year managers. Adios, Cora, and thanks for your service.

Actually I think DD handed Cora a trick deck of cards and Henry's pulse simply does not rise for any reason. Why should it?

So you would hire a new manger each year?

As far as Beni sitting is concerned, based mostly on the fact that they are trying once again to shorten his stride which has to happen but is hurting him in actual competition at this point I can see sitting him. If you roll back the video to the last game he was in, you can literally see him trying to stay more upright and shortening his stride which absolutely has to happen. But the result trying to do it in actual game competition is that he is totally lost in the batter's box.

Add to that its obviously now effected his fielding discipline and they have to sit him. No choice. Maybe a few games, maybe not. Probably depends on what they see in the batting cage.

Half the lineup doesn't hit well and we put up a lousy starting effort vitually every other game. Add to that the BP will blow every other save opportunity. Death by a thousand cuts is a good description.

Velasquez has been mediocre as a reliever (4.29 ERA in 13 games and 21 innings).

He has been beyond terrible as a starter (6.95 ERA in 8 games and 22 innings).

If you’re going to keep him on the staff, he should only be used in long relief.

Since Bogie was picked as a replacement for the ASG, he's looked like crap at the plate.

The curse of the all star.

Man the entire team looks bad.

Just sell. Can’t beat the lousy blue jays. Enough is enough. This team has looked pathetic .

The worse news is we play LA after the All star break.

The pitching is unconscionably horrible for what they are paying for it. They could hit better, particularly the superstars and that cute little beni.

But the pitching has sunk to the general level of suckage that is MLB generally only we are paying more for it to add insult to injury. But anybody that thinks all these balls should be leaving is just blind.

I simply do not know why baseball fans accept this "opener" nonsense and "quality start" nonsense without realizing that they are more than the canary in the coal mine.....MLB has killed off a dozen canaries by now.

This team has no shame. Their lethargic is embarrassing to this point. I would see if i can get some quality prospects .

Still have August and September after this month but happy that football season is around the corner and don’t have to endure this crap.
