He didn’t trade anyone except Swihart.

Have we reached the point with DD where we say his best moves are NOT trading pre-arbitration former top prospects?

No point keep this going. Thanks. Apparently you don't remember he was the name that came up the most for Trades when he was in Portland, and before. While we had Sandoval.

To me, his best moves have been in-season minor deals like the ones for Eovaldi, Reed & Pearce. He has also avoided the catastrophic FA signings like Crawford, Sandoval & HRam.

He all but emptied the farm, which was fine by me, since it brought us the 2018 ring. The time has come to pay the piper. Let's see how DD handles the rebuild.

D.D. emptied the farm of mostly overhyped , overripe produce . Nothing to weep over . He took them to market and came back with three A.L. East titles. Well worth it .

It’s ok to say the deals were justified by the success. But trying to convince yourself all the Sox gave up we’re overhyped non-contributors, that’s just denial.

Manny Margot is having a good year and recently started hot hitting. He isn’t 25 yet. Yoan Moncada was a questionable omission from the All Star game at 24. Logan Allen was a top 100 prospect this year who has since been promoted to the majors. Kopech, injures and all, is still largely a top 25 prospect on most lists, if not all.

We did give up a lot. We got a lot. That’s how it’s supposed to work. No need for the denial...
