That's a trade you do with out blinking. How many aces are available for trades?

Considering the Sox got all the way to won a WS, hard to question moving Moncada for Sale knowing they had Devers and X. It is soooooo hard to win one of these things. If you get one, its hard to question the moves that got you there.

 

Then again, the year after we get to complain like hell.

This offense is just not the same. You need a consistent offense.

That is what Manfred wanted, that is what the press wanted, that is what MLB wanted from both the plate and the mound. In this one respect Manfred and MLB and has been foiled. I am sure Manfred stands in front of his mirror at night before he brushes his teeth and screams "BUT NOOOOO".

 

But Yes Commissioner. In about the shortest period of time imaginable, the pitchers have foiled you and your vaunted MLB hitters can't hit this breaking s*** with their launch angle garbage. Suck on that one Commissioner.

 

very good article on The Athletic (subscription ) about an aerodynamic study on the ball itself. More rebound , more smooth skin, lower seams, will fly 20' further on average hit this year. The average HR total by field position will be 20+ HR's this year for all positions. Jung has been correct all year based on the study about the rocketball.
