Let's not forget the two errors, one by Beni and one by Nunez.

I love game threads because I get to vent when I'm disappointed. And right now, after how well the Sox played the Twins, swept the Orioles, and took the last 2 from the Rangers, I'm mad as hell. Wake up, guys!

So what the heck are they saying. Manfred wants to expand in the next couple years??? Where to?

What...so we can look at more empty seats.

Manfred wants to bring a major league team to Baltimore.

I also think the Jays starter has gotten more calls than Sale and don't think that's the problem. The problem is whatever he is throwing is too hittable.

The game is winnable but idk if they have one of those big innings in them.

Albert Pujols just got a 1.5 minute standing ovation when he came up to bat in the first inning in his first ever return to St. Louis. Cardinal fans have a lot of class. Boston fans have class too but I don't think Kyrie Irving is getting that when he plays in Boston next year, if he shows up.

Glad Chris Sale showed up in time to lock down the Jays. It was like he wasn't ready in the first. Now OB can keep counting K's.

Got to get into the Jays pen sooner than later to pull this one back. Sale has maybe 1 inning, 2 at the most, now that he's warmed up.

Still will have the st louis cap in his hall of fame plaque. Wish he had never left. He will always be a cardinal.

I did hear that the RAYS are looking to be a two city team--Montreal and Tampa.

Montreal has bad juju. Going up there has been rotten since 1775/76. The expos were a joke.

Definitely. He is a class act. My son is a Cardinal fan and when he was 10 Albert threw him both of his batting gloves after a game. Lifetime memory.

Canada needs it. Jays are a let down every year for them lol.

Had a good article today about Pujols where he yesterday gave the shirt off his back to a kid with Down's syndrome.

Or not hittable at all. Thats a bad combination.

The idea that MLB is even considering expansion is further proof that's it all about the money. The quality of the game isn't even a consideration.

Here Here...they have to expand two teams at a time. So that is at least 80 roster bodies ready to don a ML uni. I can find at least 80 roster bodies that DON'T deserve to even sniff a ML unis right now.....half of them wearing them as we speak!

This is the top of the lineup ready to make a move on the Jays lead. Nothing happens here, could be a wasted night.

Fair is fair. Sale hasn't been good, but he hasn't been awful either. 5 innings, 3 earned runs and 2 errors by the defense. And of course rotten hitting. He looked pretty darn good against the last 2 batters with men on 1st and 2d.

You have to wonder if the lack of run support gets to him. I mean my God....enough is enough already.

What is the ERA of starting pitchers v Sox? It must be something ridiculous regardless of who we start.
