Just beat a hell of a team those are not the twins of yesteryear.

And we split with a decent Texas squad. This team is starting to role. Let’s not screw up the momentum by losing to a horrible Jays squad.

I wasn't a huge Orsillo fan.

When Remy and Eck are in the booth together it's great stuff. They bring out the best in each other.

What???

Remy and Eck together are good, but I still would prefer Don and Jerry.

I liked Don, but he also got on my nerves at times. He and Remy would spend whole half-innings yukking it up about something that had nothing to do with the game.

To each their own.

The best play by play guy in baseball is Jon Miller.. it’s not even close imo. I do like O’Brien though.

Gary Thorne is good too but he was even better when he was calling NHL games for ESPN.. man. Talk about taking a hit. ESPN had Thorne doing hockey and Miller doing baseball.... now they let people like Jessica Mendoza analyze games... LoL. Good grief.

ESPN is useless now.. I used to watch sportscenter way back when but now everyone can just look up what they want to see specifically from the day. All these useless sports shows with script wavers in front of them staging ridiculous arguments in an attempt to have people watch it like a soap. Trash.

Or say 'Get the f*** out of here!' ;)
He's definitely thinking "what does this guy know. Has he ever played the game?" Unfortunately, he can't express his derision on air.

As an O's announcer, Gary Thorne is the absolute worst. Well maybe Hawk Harrelson was worse, but even that is not a given.

Sox have to get the lead out right now. There is still time. Have to take advantage of playing Toronto. Need to play like Champions.

I listen to announcers from around baseball, and most can’t compare to the Red Sox team of Remy, Eck and OB, but our guys don’t need the visiting nerd service. Get that guy out of there. I switch broadcasts when he comes on. He adds nothing.

Actually I liked Eck all the way up to this year. Somebody thought it was a good idea to send him to the Yes Network school of sports broadcasting and he has been pretty hard to take this year as a result. In fact I suspect the Yes crew would be shaking their heads at him this year.

Disagree about him being the worst. I enjoy listening to him call a baseball game BUT his style is perfect for hockey.. case in point.
