Price: "But I helped, too."

Held them to 6 into the second. Barnes gets a win last night on a walking walkoff , over Porcello's gem, Price totally bombs and is now off the hook. Our sabermetricians are correct. W-L for pitchers is a meaningless stat on its own.

That is correct, sir.

During the 7th inning stretch, the PA wll play the Pavarotti recording of OH SOLO MIO.

Are you getting up early to work on new material? You are bringing it better than Price did

Two concerns from tonight's game: 1. AC has used 4 relievers already with a little more than 3 innings left to go. If this goes extras, god forbid, we could see nunez as the closer.

2. In completed business; Shawaryn, Brewer, and lakins walked 5 guys in 3.2 innings. But they held the run total to the 6.

One more , Walden just gave up a 2 out hit. That can be a worry

Just think, Hunter Pence backed up the Panda from LF in SF before we signed that fat ass to a 5 year deal.

Walden with no third out approach. Look out below. Sticking with my theory---If your reliever gets to 20 pitches, often bad things happen.

2 strikes, 2 outs, we are in deep trouble

Those Panda rally caps are a collector's item. I hope you didn't throw yours away.

I use it daily to wipe a key spot clean and will do so until that contract expires. It's really getting nasty, but then, so am I

It’s a shame the Red Sox didn’t release JBJ like some talksox posters said!

Easy to say when it takes about 70 games to get to .200/.650. Appreciating his current contribution but almost any MLB'er would be at his level now.

No matter what you think of JBJ, releasing him at any point this season, unless he did something unspeakable like rape, murder, etc, would’ve been so beyond stupid it couldn’t be put into words. Red Sox don’t have a better outfield option on roster and he’s a streaky hitter who every year does this

f***ing Chavis is the new JBJr, Jason. Oh, he had a HR too. yea Chavis.

He’s been bad lately, and that AB was awful, but he does have a homer tonight and I’d rather have him out there than Nunez lol

On a personal level, i never advocated releasing him. I think they would need to get some discernable value for him. he was shopped this ST, and no one valued him enough to make a deal. I do think he will be shopped heavily, probably as a package before they pay him $9MM for 2020
