I have a question. Which player is more un-coachable? E-rod or JBJ?

Good question!

I would say its JBJ. He is stubborn as a mule and even tells you if you ask.

To me Erod just has no confidence in anything and then when he gets in a jam squeezes the ball too hard and just throws a nothing pitch. Does not even matter which pitch he chooses. Can throw a nothing FB, nothing Slider, nothing Change. I can't really verify that from anything other than experience. But I would bet anything he tenses up and squeezes it too hard resulting in a nothing pitch.

The first inning turned into a dud for Boston, now down 4 , let's see if there is any response or heartbeat.

I am starting to question the effort from this team.
Too much complacency. This team has been flat since Spring Training. When I got to Fort Myers, Swihart's brother had just died, so I attributed the team funk to that, but that funk has persisted.

This team gets little to no production from 5/9 offensive positions. 2B, C, 1B, 3B and CF is a disaster. Not to mention the pitching is horrible and the defense, especially Devers has been horrendous. This is very concerning, to say the least.

I guess I gotta look at positives, at least I drafted good fantasy teams with a combined 1 Red Sox player (Brasier), otherwise I’d be to annoyed/pissed to follow baseball right now. This team is infuriating to watch

I will say that Devers swing looks a lot better and stronger than a week or two ago. But another DP and basically another nothing inning.

Montas gets 6 outs on 14 pitches, thanks to the 2 DP's. Rodriguez uses 52 pitches to give up 4 runs and get the same 6 outs.

DD stayed pat in the off season. You have to make some moves.

It's hard to keep the same guys and expect them to be all motivated to climb mount everest again unless your coach/manager is in the mold of one Bill Belichick.

I still don’t get it. They should not be this horrible though.

I don't see that hitch anymore and have not seen it since that bloop single to LF he got a few games ago. I think he has resigned himself to the power either coming or not and is back to something that resembles his normal swing instead of trying to find some added juice hitting the ball.

Those 2004 and 2007 teams came back the following season and had a winning season. They drank too much bubbly.

Erod does not give himself a reason to talk himself out of a good inning and has one. The guy is a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma because you can't really figure out why he has no confidence in his stuff. The only thing you can count on is that once he works himself into a jam he will choke up some nothing ball that is lucky not to be hit to Mars.

I would trade 3/4's of the SOX infield for Chapman. Unfortunately, Mr Beane would say NO.

Heck, Beane would not even take 3/4 of the infield and all their backups for Chapman. Neither would I.
