im willing to wait for warmer weather to see how they do. patience is needed but getting very hard to do as we fall further and further behind...

I try my best to wait until Memorial Day. This season is really grinding on me (and not one of those fun Thunder goes to a college football games kinda way).

It's not quite May yet , and will certainly be interesting to see where this bunch is come Memorial Day. But to find themselves more than week (7.5 games) behind the Rays, and effectively the Yankees, before the end of April is amazing . Failing to score much at Fenway may be a tribute to the Rays pitching, but the pure ineptitude so far of the JBJr, and Pearce is not helping. Pre-injury limited results from Holt, Nunez, Pedey were not encouraging. Leon is what you might expect, but at least Vazquez is making contact with a few well hit balls. Moreland is slumping as he does annually, and JDM has back spasms which can be a mental thing as well as physical when you are a serious hitter.

Chris Sale at 0-5, with a 6.30 ERA and a 1.40 WHIP, plus a 5 year deal is totally inexplicable, but put some heat on the hitters for some of that non-support.
