Glasnow not exactly the type of pitcher to get an offense going. Sale will have to perform like the ACE he is being paid to be.

The SOX best hitter being out of the line-up again doesn't help. The SOX worst hitter not batting 9th doesn't help. The line-up could be worse. It could be Pearce, JBJ, and Leon batting 7-9. UGH!!!

It could be worse. The SOX could have given Sale a 10 year extension. This in the new Sale. You'll have to get used to it.

This entire team is caving in on itself. Everything that went well last year is going poorly this year. Went it all goes wrong like this, you can point to individual players all you want to, this team was not prepared at all to come into the regular 2019 season, now looks befuddled at their lack of success and a bit down in the mouth. That points to lack of preparation and lack of focus across the board. Does anybody know if we kept Tony LaRussa upstairs or did we figure that Cora had this after a Championship season and cut La Russa out.

Yup, it’s still early but this team sucks at every aspect of the game right now.

If I extrapolate Dever's HR's after 80-90 AB's across an entire season, for 500 AB's he will have .......zero HR's

Boy Sale is an average Pitcher without that hard fastball, and hard biting slider. Very hittable.

Doesn’t help that our “ace” can’t even give us a chance. One start he has lasted more than 5 innings so far this year. I really thought with the rotation getting it together that Sale would too but something is up with him. Whether it’s the pressure of the contract signing or an injury but the guy flat out sucks right now and it’s frustrating. Price, Porcello and E Rod have been very good. Sale just can’t seem to piece it together.
