So Boyd is a LH starter that cannot even threaten to throw a Change to a RH Hitter. This should be interesting.

10 pitch at bat, resulting in a single. Sale isn't freakin' anymore. Then a 3 pitch K. What up, thin man ?

The guy needs to step it up if they’re gonna turn this around. He’s making a lot of big mula.

Might as well shut this thread down because the game situation is hopeless--no JBJ in CF. I read recently that, had JBJ not been in center field for the Rays, they would have swept us.

Pitch count at 44. An overrated number but still an indicator of possible length to the start. This one doen't look too good for 6 innings so far. Beginning with the game warm up and between inning throws, most 100 pitch counts actually are closer to 200 total throws by the time the starter is done.

Since Boyd does not have a change we are going to see a good deal of early count swings from Sox hitters.

Our freaking starters are gonna wear out this bullpen come July.

Well once again slow start by this offense. This offense clearly doesn’t look like last year’s offense.

Sometimes the opposing pitcher has something to do with the offense being slow. Boyd is a good pitcher.

Boyd is at 14 through 2. :(

Didn't an Oakland pitcher get a no-hitter against last year's lineup?

He’s doing ok this year but last year he was pretty much an average pitcher. An era over 4.

Lin, Pearce, Leon combined BA of .238 and rarely on base in front of Beni-Betts

OK Boys I get why you are swinging early in counts. But at least get a FB. He only has two pitches. So why would you swing at an 0-0 slider BENI
