The whole thing looks pretty stupid. The allegedly 'racist' lyrics were meant to be satirical and were originally sung by Paul Robeson.

Every icon must be destroyed. She’s not alive to defend herself, but she must be destroyed so we can’t hear her beautiful iconic rendition of the song. Even if she was a racist, her rendition of the song is still beautiful and she is not profiting from it being played.

 

Next up for destruction will be Frank Sinatra. I will laugh hard if the Yankees stop playing New York New York .
