Lucky you!

Thankfully, we have just a handful up here.

Good call!!

Bittersweet in the sense that the only loss came after the Mariners blew a 6-1 lead (and a two-fun lead heading into the ninth inning).

The series is evidence of the randomness of a small sample.

harmony....i'm glad for you that you got to see a W in person.

And in dramatic fashion. What a game to be at. Sucks we went 1-3 through that series because it was actually entertaining as hell. The offense played unreal... I think we are 3rd right now with the bats.... Had the pitching been even average that is a clean sweep. Regardless I'm sure it was a fun game to be at.

Thanks, Slash. Fabulous weather, good company, close-in free parking, light traffic on the commute.

I still don't know what to think of the 2019 Seattle Mariners ... or the Boston Red Sox, for that matter.:)

Better 1-3 than 0-4 LOL

So you don't actually buy into projections at all. :D

if i were you i would have hope for a good...very good...season. the team looked ready and the players seemed to be having fun.

as for the Sox, i expect our SP'ing to be better than what we showed in the first handful of games. i think most would agree with that assessment....

Congrats to you and your Mariners Harmony.

They outplayed the Sox big time.

The Red Sox will have a deep playoff run. The Mariners, not so much. :)

Again, from my comment today over at Over the Monster :

I am a firm believer in the metrics that show the 2019 Red Sox to be a significantly better team than the Mariners. Come September 29, when the Sox will likely be preparing for the postseason and the Mariners for the offseason, this series will be a distant memory.

But a good memory for Seattle fans.

But as you tried to tell moon, we usually have trouble in your park. He wouldn't listen. ;)

Seems Sox have a lot of issues in Oakland historically as well

Probably true. Statisicly no doubt true. BUT, I just can't help feeling superstitious!

Can we please stop writing teams off!

If it's any comfort, the Seattle Mariners have scored four first-inning runs tonight against the Los Angeles Angels:

The Mariners also committed their sixth error from third base alone this season.
