As bad as Sale was for Sale, as it turns out he is not even close to the biggest factor in this game to this point. At least he gutted out a bad situation. I just don't know what that means for him going forward in this series or for next season. At least his next start (if he makes it) will be in Houston in warmer weather, indoors.

 

The entire rest of the team has for the most part looked like boys playing against men.

For as "s*****" as the bullpen has been according to most of you guys, they've allowed 2 walks, 1 HBP, 1 hit in 3 innings, and only run scored because of an error by Nunez, they've actually been pretty good. It hasn't been pretty, but keep in the mind the umpire was squeezing Kelly, and the Nunez play should've been a double play.
