I just want to see a good start from Porcello. Oh, and a game. My NOAA map for the DC area, including Baltimore, looks pretty stormy. Looks like we have entered the monsoon season in a region that tends to be dry in July. Plenty of rain last weekend. Me, I like rain a lot because I lived in Tabuk for 4.5 years. I also like trees. But I would like to see these games played. Edited by Maxbialystock

I think this game just might be playable. The clouds and rain today so far just come and go.

The game should be played right now.

No Machado certainly helps. I think this game will have more than one interruption. So, let's get out of the gate quickly and get 5 innings in.

We can't afford to waste a start by one of our very few healthy starters.. get the damn game in.

Is it raining or what? Why didn’t they play this game earlier geez. I don’t see much rain on the weather radar. Edited by d-money

Looks like 7:30, 10, and 11 t-storms very possible

Red Sox are the winningest team in baseball with 70. Orioles have lost 72 already. That's hard to do when virtually all teams should win 60 games. O's might not get 50 with Machado gone

Nice HR blow by Moreland , after the O's runner pulled a mistake wandering off first without a clue and Leon holding the ball ready to fire.

Mookie's favorite spot for a blast into the outfield ? The CF'er's glove about 410' from home plate. He would have 30 HR's with several balls just pulled another 30' or so to left.

Another class act has announced his retirement from baseball about a week ago. Chase Utley. Because getting voted into the HOF is such a stat driven endeavor, Utley will probably not make it. However, based on intangibles, I would vote him in. He exemplified what a winning ballplayer was all about.

4-1 Rays over the Yankees and Severino. Go Rays......wait....I hate them too.

I actually hate their ball field more than I hate them. However, if the season ended today, Kevin Cash would get my vote for manager of the year in the AL. I remember Cash being a well-liked player when he played for the SOX.

But, I'm sure, the RAYS are the lesser of the two hates.

Someone here has the tag line that if the Yankees went 0-162 it still wouldn't be enough. I hold that has gospel.
