If JBJ got a hit once in a while that would be cool too.

I'm going with WAR on this matter. .6 doesn't make me shudder.

JBJ last 15 games: 48 AB, .271 Ave

JBJ last 7 games: 22 AB, 318 Ave.

JBJ is the opposite of JDM. They didn't pick up JBJ for his offense.

Maybe having pitchers bat isn't a bad idea.

Nah...they are probably on the verge of hurting themselves fist pumping and forearm pumping and chest pumping..."Yea ...pitchers rule....bang ...ouch.....geez...I'm so mad I'm gonna' throw my glove!"

Yeah, and if C. Smith struck out, he'd probably hurt his arm again in the dugout.

What he has done recently has more bearing on what he is now than is what he did in April.

I don't know what you're all bent out of shape about. My original point was that this outfield is better with JBJ in it than it is with him on the bench, and not just because he's in CF.

You’re just full of great ideas and clearly a better manager than Cora.

But I'm not the one who pulls the guy with 2 outs in the 5th to f*** up his win after the guy ran the bases for you. If you didn't know after the 4th that Johnson was beginning to run low on fuel, then you would be Cora.

I am not real sure about this trend of pitchers sitting with everyday players in the dugout. In my day all the pitchers sat in their little corner if they were in the dugout, holding their secret little pitchers meetings. We were sure they were all talking about how easy it would be to get us out if we only played for somebody else. PITCHERS!!!

Very weird Cora would pull Johnson there. I would understand if it was a close game, but I'd give Johnson the chance to get the W there in a 7 run game, unless there is an injury or something were unaware of.

Agree. A seven run lead and he needs one out to get the W. Did Johnson shoot Cora's dog .. or something?

It looked like the heat was getting to him. He might have had some leg cramps.

I don't get that either. At least give the kid a chance to win it. Can't really buy injury cause he left him out there to get the first two outs.

Even if he was gassed or cramping, I still give him a shot to get the last out. With a guy like Johnson, each of these opportunities could be his last.

My bad Dewey. I'd never argue about him making any outfield better. He's a human highlight wheel

Cora says, "Nothing personal , Brian, this is strictly business, and you are expendable"

So far all of Cora's moves have worked.

Certainly have , he should buy a Lotto ticket tonight. Oh, and he pulls Johnson with the pitcher's position hitting in the 6th. Could have dealt with that by running for him in the 4th, just to piss off some here. Cora is a pimp, just like Tataglia.

It's all good, my man. :D I'm a little unnecessarily cranky myself with this hot weather.

But he is smarter than Fredo.

Really got to hand it to the pitchers in this heat, especially Porcello and ole' Blue/Brown eyes from last night.
