I am glad that they didn't give up on Holt after last year's down season due to the concussion.

 

I've posted this before, but every team in MLB would love to have Brock Holt.

I thought that the Fox crew the night before did a more than credible job...even better than some of the local crews we see/hear. That was actually a performance they could be proud of. I even posted that night that if the ESPN crew were watching they should just go out and commit ritual suicide out of embarrassment.

Scherzer's season so far reminds me of Bob Gibson in 1968. Gibby had an ERA of under 1.20 and still lost 9 games with the Cards.
