I forget which ballplayer told the story, but he was a SF Giant. When he came up to the bigs, Mays told him that he just tries to hold his own against the Koufax, Drysdale, Spahn etc, but that he makes his money against the rest of the league.

Looked it up: Pomeranz was the LP , giving up 5 runs in 2.2 innings, on 4 hits and 2 walks. Drew may need another quickie down there before going on the 60 day DL with brain cramps.
