He usually does. When I was a kid maybe 11-14 or so, maybe 1970-73, the Red Sox absolutely could do nothing with Gaylord Perry, who was near the end of his career. I mean like he would shut them out a couple times a year and they get 1 or 2 runs at most a couple other times. They could not beat him. The current Sox against CC the past few years remind of those days.
