Not bad.

"Not bad" may be the understatement of the week. If he didn't throw the knuckler people would be salivating all over themselves at results like that.

Myself, I don't care what he throws for pitches if he's going to get that kind of numbers. This pitching staff is really coming together now with ERod & Wright as #'s 4&5.

Yeah he's pitching lights out. Good times!

I've always like to use this analogy: if a fastball pitcher threw the ball so hard a catcher could not catch it, or a curveball pitcher threw such a wicked curve that catchers missed it, we'd have no problem with the pitcher, yet when a knuckleballer throws a pitch that is hard to catch, we tend to blame the pitcher.

If a pitch is so hard to catch, imagine trying to hit it.

Vaz is doing a great job catching Wright, so what's not to love about his success?

Vaz has done an amazing job catching that butterfly ball ...Vaz has truly opened my eyes at what a sneaky good Defensive player he truly is ...he's also by all accounts a great teammate .

Too bad he was traded by Natick the GM 74 times already.

And was released another 53 times. Its been a rough season for Vazquez. And this isn't even accounting for what GM SC30 has done to Vazquez!

Wasn't this the time Wright started to fade in 2016, just before the allstar game? The dude was off the charts, started to fade, then got injured.

At some point we all became weatherman looking a humidity readings and looking at what the dew point was at his next start to predict how he was going to perform.

he only had 2 good games out of his last 10.

9 IP 0 ER @ LAD (low humidity?)

8 IP 1 ER vs MN (7/21/16)- It got up to 90 that day with a dew point between 49 and 64.

I haven't heard a peep about Wright returning from his injury. Is he done for the season? He seems unable to recover from injuries...

"We had a conversation with him on Sunday," Cora said. "He's feeling a lot better than when he came back the first time. Kind of like knowing what he has to do to avoid lapses like this. He's been doing great in the weight room. He's been keeping his arm in shape.

"I don't want to get ahead of myself but I do feel that he's going to be back at some point during the season," Cora added. "I'm not saying that's next week. But the way he's been working the last week, him getting on the mound for a few pitches it's telling us that it's going to happen. When? I don't know. But it's going to happen."
