This kid might be a kid but if he can keep repeating Strike 3 to Moreland in that location, the LH hitters are going to have a heck of a time with this guy.

Pedey obviously not much of a hitter. Must be in for defensive purposes.

Why does Pomeranz look like he just sucked a lemon and slumps his way off the field. This guy has head issues.

Sean Newcomb looks like a young Jon Lester, but he must go down today.

You must be the DA to not recognize obtuse humor, JO.

Pomeranz is totally unlikeable. Black clouds hang around this guy. Usually with two outs and two strikes on a hitter

The thing I like about Pom is his "seriousness." But he does have a bit of the Glum look.

I always feel like he's gonna figure it out soon, & be a force. Great PITCHER but the velocity scares me!

Man on third, one man out, and Mookie fails to bring him home. Not good.

If he stays healthy, this kid is going to become a tour de force SP.

HE looks that good!

Pretty terrible 2d inning. Pom does his thing by giving up 2 runs, but our guys absolutely could not capitalize on 2 men on and nobody out.

People were saying the same negative stuff about Pom at this time last year.

This years its true.....he has done little to engender likeability.

I was in favor of giving Pom one more start (this one) because at least his FB had bottomed out and it was worth it to see if it started to climb back for him. But its not and he is just too handicapped by this 89mph FB. After today, it makes little sense to just keep pushing Pom out there. I give Pom credit for his courage. He has actually given us some of the most courageous performances of this rotation since coming here. But once the entire league figures out that his four seam is not improving, he is going to get killed out there.
