Is it me, or are the wheels starting to come off for Baltimore now?

O’s have no wheels this year. Stuck on cinder blocks.

Mr tingles is dealing

JBj with a sb & rs

Beni in LF with JBj back in CF with an OA.

Nice job of managing so far by Rookie Cora for starting JBj tonight

Don't know that I would go that far unless he saves something in the field or shows some improvement at the plate.

He’s got a sb & rs in a 3-0 game. We can say he contributed tonight. It’s ok.

Hopefully Cora doesn’t bring kimbrel into the game with 1out in the 8th

What do you guys think of Carson calling out Cora? Pretty weak

What is going on with this O's team?

I don't know, but any day Buck Showalter loses a game is a good day!

JBJ isn't quick? He's definitely got some speed.

Some. But he's the slowest in this outfield. Never stolen more than 9 bases in a season. soxprospects says average speed but rate his defense for highly.

Yes he contributed. But he has proven how stubborn he is about his swing. It took 500 of the worst AB's in a row in history in 2014 before he would finally relent and listen to somebody. Honestly, they need his glove out there because Beni is no CFer. But if he does not at least improve to the point of being able to afford to put him into the everyday lineup, its an issue. Coddling won't help that. He has already proven that coddling him through these won't help him.

Insisting that his hitting is going to just come back when he is not even seeing the ball to the plate is simply wishful thinking IMO.

I'm a big JBJ fan, but... how do you walk a guy who's hitting 9th and batting .170??

That is the second big bomb that I have seen Bogaerts hit in 4 games at Fenway — the gran salami last month. Also, saw him go deep at Yankee Stadium.

He's not a great base stealer, but he is a smart runner and definitely has above average speed. His stolen base percentage is very good, and scoring on that fly ball to RF that wasn't deep showed some speed.

wow. Just wow. I see something like that and think the Sox would be nuts to go after Machado as a rental or long term at probably $25M a year.

This looks to be the kind of lopsided win we need more of and have seen in the previous 9 games.

A700 you are kind of a lucky charm ...you kind of owe it to the Nation to hit say 70 more games up ???

If the Sox can get Beni and Devers to mature just a bit faster than we should expect, I doubt the Yankee batting order has much to talk about over this batting order...maybe still a bit better at the bottom. But this one might actually end up better 1-6.
