Funny they are talking about Holt being a long way from coming back. Remember him trying to convince Cora that it was just a cramp?

With the Astros playing the Yankees you gotta try and take advantage. This starting pitching has been so dissapointing lately.

Velasquez is better than Erod it's really not stuff its attitude he's also better than Pom and Wright .

Sooner or later he is going to take a spot in the rotation.

If the Sox get it into their heads that E-rod is truly regressing he will be in a lotta' trouble quickly. What are they gonna' do, bring him into regular relief situations and just watch him walk the opponents around the bases? E-Rod would turn into a garbage time pitcher.

Don’t even have to throw Devers a strike anymore. High fastballs.

It is a little disappointing that he is ignoring pitches that are right in the LH power hitter honey spot to swing at that stuff headed for the press box.

I used to look forward to his at bats, but now the kid won't stop chasing. Man on 1st and 3rd, Beni up he hits a fly ball and brings in a run. Devers in the same position takes big cuts at balls out of the strike zone and is gone. The kid has talent but needs guidance.

The more I see Velazquez the more I think he deserves a chance in the rotation. Edited by iortiz

Whats that, 5 in April to none last year? Baseball is a crazy game.

Correcting my own, it's 6 in April. Unbelieveable.

I agree. He is executing his pitches and getting hitters out.

What I like from him is that he doesn’t panic regardless the situation. With the 50% of Hector’s confidence, ERod would be a super star.
