Wonder why Bogaerts isn't in. Two days back after more than two weeks off and he gets a rest? Hope his leg isn't bothering him. Seriously, with Betts out with a sore hamstring you would think arguably our best hitter should be in.

I thought they were joking around. Maybe not at the end with the ump. But Hanley yelling explatives after a swinging strike isn't anything new.

Just a 51 year Sox fan from Boston. Love the Sox. It's a bit more than an obsession. Tough having nobody out here on the west coast to talk Sox. Move out here at 20. I can live without talking the B's (another passion). There are always plenty of clinging Pats & Celtics fans to jaw with anywhere.

 

BUT the Sox are life itself. 35 years out here without a regular daily fix. Gets pretty tough!

They could have been joking, but Hanley took a LONGGGGGGG look back & was yapping at the ump after that pitch. I got the feeling that Sucre said something to Hanley that got under his skin. Maybe, "just get in the box & stop your bitching.?"

12 years ago, my new, upgraded, second and only real wife planned our Honeymoon at the Seattle series. Met her & started dating during the 04 series. GAME 4 ALCS she refused to leave my hard kitchen bar stool, "because she felt the Sox were coming back." It worked. I had to marry her after that! Good thing I did. She was a huge factor in 07 & 13 too.

Cash has taken Cora to school early in the season. His lineups have been solid. He has had to schedule a bullpen game out of every 4-5 and he has pulled it off so far.

Plus the Rays hitters are hitting mistake pitches so well you have to think they are prepared for the types of mistakes a particular starter is likely to make and are just waiting on that pitch to show up and BANG.....SEE YA'
