The game thread from last night has a lengthy discussion about whether Cora should have pinch hit with Leon in the 9th--I love it! We were down 10-6 and the Yankees had their monster closer Chapman out there, but doggone if JBJ and Vazquez didn't lead off with a single and a double--men on 2d and 3d and no one out when Leon pinch hit for Holt. Also, Holt got spiked and Austin got plunked--about right.

this is the biggest downside to pitchers not hitting in the AL. When you throw a AA pitch like that, you should have to come up and take your medicine. Never liked Grey....
