I am not really questioning the guy cause he is a very professional hitter but man JD's swing is long long.

 

And I still say that even though he was not away from the breaking ball league that long...he is still looking for FB's he got in the NL that he is not getting in the AL.

espn announcers sure love those Yankees though. Was that five replays on Judge's grab in right field? Plus all the stats about how hard Severino throws, also the other Yankee pitchers. Near the end of ST, their "experts" picked the Yankees to breeze thru the AL which, I have to admit, is entirely possible with that monster lineup. Sale doesn't seem worried, however.

He put a good swing on it....contrast that with Bradley who is missing by a foot and has no idea where the strike zone is. JD had the third best OPS for an OF with at least 200 PAs in all of baseball last year, ahead of Stanton, behind Trout and Judge. He will come around.
